Experience, Passion, Commitment: Our story in a glass of wine

For us, viticulture is not just a profession but a true passion passed down through generations. With love, commitment, and profound expertise, the Buffon family founded Ca’ dei Falchi, a winery created with a clear mission: to honour and enhance a region of land devoted to vine cultivation for over 300 years. Thanks to the commitment of Renzo, the father, and his sons Marco and Davide, every wine tells a story that begins with the soil and comes to life in the glass, offering a unique and authentic experience.

The Prosecco Hills: a landscape like no other

Ca’ dei Falchi is rooted in the heart of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano, among the enchanting Rive di Ogliano [Ogliano slopes], a region renowned for its heroic viticulture and winemaking excellence. Here, nature and human craftsmanship have fused to create a panoramic landscape of rolling hills covered in vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see. This land, made fertile and generous by centuries of human dedication, is the birthplace of our Prosecco DOCG, crafted with expertise from hand-harvested grapes grown on these steep slopes.

UNESCO recognised the Prosecco Hills as a World Heritage Site, and we at Ca’ dei Falchi are proud to protect them. We cultivate these lands with love and respect, believing that every drop of our wine bears the essence of this extraordinary location.

Our winery

The Ca’ dei Falchi winery is the beating heart of our production. With a total capacity of 32,000 hectolitres, evenly distributed among the tanks for must processing, wine storage, and autoclaves dedicated to sparkling wine production, every aspect is designed to ensure the highest quality at every stage of production.

The pressing system, used exclusively for producing premium wines and Prosecco DOCG, reflects the attention to detail that defines our winery. The grape transformation process takes place entirely on-site, while the bottling process is outsourced, allowing us to specialise exclusively in the initial stages of production.

Spread across three independent floors, our state-of-the-art facility ensures the best possible workflow and flawless operational management. Thanks to our in-house laboratory and the expertise of oenologist Davide Buffon, every wine undergoes strict quality controls directly in the winery, making the company fully self-sufficient in analytical processes.

Certified by SQNPI (National Quality System for Integrated Production), Ca’ dei Falchi is committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Demonstrating this commitment, our winery features an electric vehicle charging station for guests and visitors, ensuring an increasingly eco-friendly welcome.

A journey through Veneto and Friuli

While the heart of our winery beats in the hills of Conegliano, Ca’ dei Falchi extends far beyond these confines, our grape varieties span the magnificent lands of Veneto and Friuli, regions renowned for producing highly esteemed wines.

With their unique geological features and favourable climates, these areas offer an extraordinary terroir, reflected in our wines’ aromas, nuances, and flavours. From north to south, our vineyards capture the very essence of these lands, bringing to life wines that speak of tradition, excellence, and passion. Each bottle is a sensory journey that tells the story of a land rich in character and authenticity.
